Whether you’re just starting out or introducing a new product or service this workshop offers a step by step approach to test the viability of your ideas. Using well established tools to help you to develop your product and bring it to market. This workshop will help you review your product or service and understand your customers and how to reach them.

Topics include: Defining your product or service, identifying your target market; getting the right promotional strategy;  and understanding key elements of pricing.

Generating an income for your group

Community groups and non-profits face a real challenge in making enough income to fund their work. You may have become reliant on grant funding and are finding it harder to get. The trainer will help you look at other ways your group could generate income particularly if your service or activities have a unique selling point.

  • Clarify your aims and objectives and know who your potential stakeholders are
  • Look at the different types of structure appropriate for your size of group and its activities
  • Learn useful tools to help develop your group
  • Explore the possibility of various enterprise models appropriate to your group and identify your target market and how you can reach them.

Starting in Social Enterprise Workshops

At Social Enterprise Works we understand the challenge you might face when setting up a new social enterprise. Whether you’re a social entrepreneur, a community group wanting to generate income or an individual with a great idea to benefit society, we can share our wealth of knowledge and expertise and empower you to take the next step towards success.

After the workshop you will have:

The workshops are small and informal and provide a great opportunity to share ideas and experiences with others. Places are FREE for people in Bristol but limited, book early to avoid disappointment.
