Growing the Ecosystem of Support and Finance for Ambitious Social Entrepreneurs
In communities around the country, there are shooting stars – ambitious social entrepreneurs who have the potential to deliver social impact at scale.
The social entrepreneurship sector is set to grow but there are key challenges facing those who are ambitious to scale up their social ventures – namely access to appropriate finance and lack of capacity. Many of these challenges can be overcome by knowing the right people with the right skills at the right time.
So, how do we strengthen the support and investment ecosystem for the most ambitious social entrepreneurs? How do we attract new investors to the sector? Are there better ways that support providers can collaborate?
On the Thursday 11th of October, UnLtd (in collaboration with Social Enterprise Works) will host an event to:
· Introduce UnLtd and our model for supporting and financing ambitious social entrepreneurs
· Share lessons from the Big Venture Challenge about how to attract new investors to the social venture market.
· Explore innovative ways to support social entrepreneurs who want to scale up impact rapidly.
Speakers include:
· UnLtd Ventures
· Social Enterprise Works
· UnLtd Award Winner
Venue: Triodos Bank, Deanery Road, Bristol BS1 5AS
