Plymouth College of Art has purchased the Skills and Enterprise Development Agency for the Creative Industries in the South West, ArtsMatrix.
In a bid to support and build upon the success of ArtsMatrix, which went into voluntary liquidation in December 2009, Plymouth College of Art was successful in procuring the company.
ArtsMatrix is the skills and enterprise development agency for the arts and creative industries in the South West.
Our vision is a creative sector in which talent flourishes and a region where individual potential translates into creative and commercial success.
We nurture creative talent and help individuals develop skills to achieve their potential, economically and creatively. Our role is to provide – directly and through partnership – a programme of services that develops skills, encourages enterprise, nurtures creative talent and improves access to learning opportunities.
