SOFA Project is a carbon-positive furniture and electrical appliance re-use charity which is also an accredited social enterprise. SOFA collects unwanted furniture and electrical appliances and provides them at affordable prices to people on a low income, creating social benefit of at least £200,000 per year. SOFA operates a subsidiary enterprise (REVAMP) which provides a service for the collection and re-use/recycling of WEEE (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment) from businesses and institutions across the West of England. Much of it is passed on for re-use.
