The purpose of Filwood Hope is to secure the community of Knowle West in any way we can. Every day we help people with form filling, making difficult telephone calls, writing letters etc.
We host drop in sessions by several local agencies:
Tuesday
1.00 – 3.00 Benefit and money advice offered by South Bristol Advice Services
Wednesday
9.30 – 12.00 Advice for the over 55’s, benefits, debt and homecare offered by Age Concern
1.00 – 4.00 Getting back into employment advice offered by Tomorrow’s People
2.00 – 4.00 Bristol MIND advice for those grappling with mental health issues
Thursday
10.00 – 12.00 Benefit and money advice by South Bristol Advice Services
10.00 – 12.00 Shelter providing housing advice
Filwood Hope is a walk in centre. It is a welcome place to come for an informal chat. There are private rooms to discuss more personal and confidential matters.
