RISE is a membership organisation open to anyone interested in social enterprise, and based in South West England. The RISE vision is “Social enterprise will be recognised as a successful business model at the heart of thriving communities” and its mission is to improve the trading and operating environment for social enterprise development in South West England. RISE provides a range of services including the Social Enterprise Mark (an independently-assured label for customers), the Business Advice Network, Professional Development training for social enterprise advisors and it encourages social enterprises to access the specialist business advice service delivered by Co-active and Business Link.
