SWCF works with the local community to provide educational and recreational services, particularly to those who are economically or socially disadvantaged.
Farm services include -
- Livestock farm, open every day of the year with free entry 9-4 winter, 9-5 summer.
- Horticultural training for adults with learning difficulties.
- Environmental education and youth work
- Animal husbandry training and work experience
- Opportunities for volunteers
- Group visits
- Community events
- Open access adventure playground and community garden
- Community building hire, £10/hour
- Sale of produce - eggs, meat, plants, fruit, veg, compost and wormeries
The café, managed independently, is open Weds to Sun 10 -4pm (closed Mon, Tues)
